Its about page says the brand was founded above the Arctic Circle and takes its name from a Northern Norwegian Indigenous language word for time. AIGI states that design and development take place in Norway, while production is carried out abroad to source components globally and keep pricing competitive. The brand uses Swiss and Japanese movements including Miyota, Seiko, Ronda and Sellita.
