French luxury jewelry and watch house founded by Frédéric Boucheron, the first jeweler to open at Place Vendôme in 1893. Now part of Kering.

Frédéric Boucheron founded the house in 1858, opening his first store in the Galerie de Valois at Palais-Royal during the Second French Empire. He established his atelier in 1866 and won the Gold Medal at the 1867 Exposition Universelle. In 1879, Boucheron developed the clasp-less necklace, which helped win the Grand Prix for Outstanding Innovation at the 1889 World's Fair. In 1893, Frédéric became the first jeweler to move to Place Vendôme, choosing number 26 for its sunny corner that would make diamonds sparkle. After his death in 1902, descendants continued the family business, expanding internationally with stores in Moscow, London, and later Japan. In 1994, the family sold to Schweizerhall. In 2000, Boucheron was acquired by Gucci Group, which was subsequently purchased by PPR (now Kering) in 2004. Notable watch collaborations include work with Girard-Perregaux and MB&F.
