One of the most widely used automatic chronograph movements in watchmaking history. Originally designed by Edmond Capt using computer-aided design (a first for the watch industry). Based on the manual-wind Valjoux 7733, the 7750 features a cam-operated chronograph system with subdials at 12, 6, and 9 o'clock, plus day-date at 3 o'clock. First produced in 1974-1975, production resumed in 1985 after the quartz crisis. Now part of ETA's Mecaline series, used by hundreds of watch brands including Breitling, TAG Heuer, IWC, Sinn, Hamilton, and many others.
