The Lemania 5100 is a legendary workhorse chronograph movement, famous for its ruggedness and military applications. Features unique central minute counter, 24h indicator at 12 o'clock, 12-hour totalizer at 6 o'clock, and small seconds at 9 o'clock. Designed with stamped steel, delrin plastic, and pillar construction for durability and cost-effectiveness. Known for withstanding acceleration in excess of 7G without chronograph seconds stopping. Used extensively in military watches from Sinn, Tutima, Fortis, and the Omega Speedmaster Automatic. Production ended in 2002 when Swatch Group restricted Lemania movements to in-house brands. The ETA C01.211 was later created based on this design.
