The Lemania 1872 is a manual-winding cam-switching chronograph movement produced by Lemania and Nouvelle Lemania since 1961. It replaced the column-wheel 2310 for most applications beginning in 1968 due to simpler and more cost-effective cam-switching design. Features 2-register layout with central chronograph seconds, 30-minute counter at 3 o'clock, and small seconds at 9 o'clock. Similar to the 1873 but without hour totalizer. Used in numerous Swiss chronograph watches including Omega Speedmaster Professional, Girard-Perregaux Richeville, and Panerai (as OP XVI).
