The Lemania 1340 was jointly developed by Omega and Lemania for introduction in 1972 as one of the early integrated automatic chronographs. Features a cam-switched chronograph mechanism and an unusual arrangement with central minute chronograph counter. Omega used the similar Cal. 1341 as their Cal. 1040/1041. This movement preceded the simplified Lemania 5100 which was introduced shortly after to compete with cheaper quartz chronographs. Production ran from 1972-1980. Later modernized and re-introduced as Cal. 1350 in 1994.
