The Landeron Cal. 187 is a date-equipped chronograph movement from the Cal. 48 family, produced in the 1960s. It combines the reliable 'JI' hammer cam-switching chronograph mechanism with a date complication displayed through a window typically positioned at 6:00 (some examples move it to 12:00). Closely related to the Cal. 248 and Cal. 348 which lack the date function, and the 14 ligne Cal. 254. A notable derivative was the Dubey & Schaldenbrand Index-Mobile, a rattrapante (split-seconds) version using a second spiral hairspring with a co-axial crown pusher.
