The HMC 324 is an in-house hand-wound mechanical movement specifically designed for rectangular watches like the Swiss Alp series. It features a modular plug-and-play escapement and power reserve indicator on the movement side to keep the dial uncluttered. The movement includes small seconds at 6 o'clock, Moser teeth, an interchangeable Moser escapement, original Straumann Hairspring with stabilised Breguet overcoil, and gold escapement wheel and pallet fork. The caliber dimensions are 32.0mm x 36.0mm for the rectangular case format.
