The EB 251 is the signature movement of Eberhard's iconic Chrono 4 collection, first introduced in 2001. Based on the ETA 2894-2, it features Eberhard's patented device for displaying chronograph information via four inline counters: minutes, hours, 24-hour display, and small seconds. This revolutionary layout was inspired by the dashboards of vintage racing cars and was the first and only chronograph in watchmaking history with four aligned counters. The date is displayed at 12 o'clock. Powers the Chrono 4 collection including the Chrono 4 21-42, Grande Taille, Bellissimo, and Géant models.
