The CFB A2000 is the second generation of Carl F. Bucherer's peripheral rotor manufacture movement, introduced at Baselworld 2016. It retains the signature peripheral winding mechanism but improves upon the A1000 with a higher 4 Hz beat rate for increased precision and a newly free-sprung balance with Gyromax-style peripheral weights for better shock resistance. Replaces the CDAS system with traditional regulation. COSC certified chronometer with more traditional Geneva stripes finishing compared to the technical look of the A1000. Serves as the base for various A20xx caliber variants.
