The CFB A1000 was the first reliably functioning series-produced automatic movement with a peripheral rotor. Introduced in 2008 after three years of development with Techniques Horlogères Appliquées (THA), it features the patented Central Dual Adjusting System (CDAS) for precise regulation and the Dynamic Shock Absorption (DSA) system. The peripheral rotor allows an unobstructed view of the movement while providing automatic winding. It received the Golden Balance/Special Technology Prize from Uhrenmagazin in 2009. Replaced by the CFB A2000 series in 2016.
