The Unitas 6325 is a vintage Swiss manual-wind movement often referred to as a 'Wehrmachtswerk' (German military/army movement) due to its frequent use in military-style watches. At 13 lignes (29mm), it is essentially a smaller sibling to the larger 6498, sharing similar architecture with the small seconds subdial at 6 o'clock. Produced by Fabrique D'Ebauches Unitas S.A. in Tramelan, Switzerland. Typically found with 17 jewels, though rare 21-jewel versions exist. The 49-degree lift angle and 21,600 vph frequency provide good accuracy. Found in various vintage military watches including BWC Swiss Courage, Cortebert dress watches, and Junghans pieces.
