The ETA 6498-2 is the higher-frequency Savonette variant operating at 21,600 vph (3 Hz) with an extended 53-hour power reserve. Maintains the Hunter configuration with small seconds at 6 o'clock. Available in Elaboré grade with Incabloc shock protection and decorative finishing. The increased frequency provides smoother seconds hand motion and potentially improved accuracy. The large 36.6mm diameter continues to make it popular for oversized wristwatches and modern pocket watches. Used by various brands for deck watches, marine chronometers, and large dress watches where the small seconds at 6 position is preferred.
