ETA 6497-2

The ETA 6497-2 is the higher-frequency variant of the 6497 family, upgraded to operate at 21,600 vph (3 Hz) compared to the 6497-1's 18,000 vph. This update provides slightly improved accuracy and smoother seconds hand movement. The power reserve was extended to 53 hours (up from 46 hours) thanks to a longer mainspring. Available in Elaboré grade with improved decoration and finishing. Maintains the classic Lépine configuration with small seconds at 9 o'clock. Used by Panerai in their OP calibers operating at 21,600 vph with 56-hour power reserve. The 44-degree lift angle remains consistent with the 6497-1.
