The ST3 was China's first chronograph movement, developed under Project 304 in 1961 for the People's Liberation Army Air Force pilots. Based on purchased Venus 175 machinery and tooling. By 1966, 1,400 chronograph watches had been delivered to PLAAF pilots. The predecessor to the modern ST19 series. This historic movement is highly collectible.
