The DUW 4001 is a manually wound manufacture movement featuring the NOMOS Swing System escapement with blue balance spring. This caliber replaces the original Alpha in newer production while maintaining the same compact dimensions. Notable for its extended 53-hour power reserve (vs 43h of Alpha), stop-seconds mechanism, and adjustment in six positions. Features Glashütte three-quarter plate, Glashütte stopwork, DUW regulation system, rhodium-plated surfaces with Glashütte ribbing and NOMOS perlage, and tempered blue screws. Powers Tangente, Orion, Ludwig, Tetra, and Club collections.
