The Alpha.2 is a variant of the original Alpha caliber, specifically designed for the Duo series of watches which feature two time zones. The key difference is a shorter pivot on the second wheel, allowing for a modified gear train that accommodates the second time zone display. Maintains all the hallmarks of the Alpha caliber including Glashütte three-quarter plate, stop-seconds mechanism, Glashütte stopwork, Incabloc shock protection, and adjustment in six positions with traditional Glashütte finishing.
