The Felsa 693 is an automatic movement produced in Switzerland during the 1950s, based on the caliber 690. It contains 17 jewels and represents the most complicated version of Felsa's second-generation Bidynator automatics, which were notable for being the first movements capable of bidirectional winding. The 693 adds a full calendar suite with day and month windows positioned above the center, a date hand circling the dial perimeter, and a moon phase display. Each function—day, date, month, and moon phase—is adjusted through individual recessed pushers on the case. The movement powered several premium watches from the era, including Record Watch Co. triple-date chronometers and Favre-Leuba calendar pieces. Production has been discontinued.
