The ETA 2824-2 is perhaps the most recognized and widely used Swiss automatic movement in the industry. Based on the original Eterna caliber 1427, it has been in production since 1982. Available in four grades (Standard, Elaboré, Top, and Chronometer), each with different finishing and adjustment levels. The workhorse movement for countless Swiss and microbrand watches. Features an Etachron regulator for easy adjustment. Used by Tissot in various models including the Le Locle and Carson lines before the transition to Powermatic 80.
