The DD 2000 is the historic chronograph module that established Dubois Dépraz as the premier chronograph module manufacturer. Created in 1983, its unique clutch design allows it to work with both automatic and quartz base movements. It mounts on the dial side, drawing regulated energy from the seconds wheel. TAG Heuer used it with ETA 2892-2 for Calibre 283 and with quartz ETA Normline 555.232 for Calibre 185. This versatile module spawned the entire DD 20xx family.
