The BM112824 is an ETA 2824-2 based movement with Baume & Mercier branding on the rotor. A reliable 3-hand automatic movement with open balance wheel display at 12 o'clock in some models (Classima XL Open Heart). As ETA movements became restricted to Swatch Group brands, Baume & Mercier has transitioned to Sellita SW200-1 based alternatives (26 jewels) for newer production. The jewel count (25 vs 26) is the easiest way to identify the base caliber.
