Mühle-Glashütte is a German watch manufacturer based in Glashütte, Saxony, specializing in nautical instruments and wristwatches. Founded in 1869 by Robert Mühle as a precision measuring instruments maker, it is the only watch manufacturer in Glashütte still owned by a long-established local family. The company was nationalized twice during the East German period and re-founded in 1994. Currently led by Thilo Mühle (5th generation) with the 6th generation now in management, the brand is known for its woodpecker neck regulation, marine heritage, and the S.A.R. Rescue-Timer developed for the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service.
